Che Gaetano Costa

Born in Torre del Greco (Naples) on 19th September 1972 he degreed in Hotelier School IPSSAR, Ottaviano - Naples. During his studies, he already had his first experiences in the Hotellerie world. He visits Rome for the first time in 1993, during the military service and he fell in love with this wonderful city.

Missing one subway stop, he arrives in Barberini Square and in front oh the Majestic Hotel, he promised to himself that one day he will be their Chef.
And that’s how it happened.

Firstly for Parco dei Principi hotel, as sous-chef, and then to Aldrovandi Palace, untill year 2000.

In the same year Hotel Majestic wants him as executive chef, for the gourmet restaurant “La Veranda”, the brasserie “La Ninfa” and as Manager for the food and beverage area. His dream comes true.

Admired by great artists and high personalities, like Luciano Pavarotti, Bill Gates, Liza Minnelli, Rita Levi Montalcini, he strengthen his professionalism thanks to the exchange with Michelin Star Chefs. In 2004 gets the award European personality of The Year for Arts. In 2009 he opens his own restaurant, a food gallery where Art meets gourmet.

In 4 years Gaetano Costa becomes a brand and accepts to work with Boscolo Group. He goes to Aleph, a 5 star Hotel, where he can find himself in architecture and style. Only one year later Gaetano Costa is chosen as Chef for Grand Hotel Ritz in Rome, after their huge restyling.
